Looking up...

Things really are looking up for me and my family.
1st. The invitations finally made there way to me. I was getting really worried about them, and mad because I thought that I wasted my money and would have to pay again. Thank goodness they came.
2nd. I spent the weekend(we spend the weekend) with my mom. She really tried to cheer me up about my whole housing situation. She took me out to eat and then on Saturday we all(Myles, her and I) went to Millennium Park and enjoyed downtown Chicago. For a moment, I'd forgotten that the management company of my subleased apartment illegally changed the locks on my apartment(with my items still inside). I'd forgotten about the me having to call the police and them telling me that all I can do is take it up in court. Id forgotten that all of my items were taking out of the house and moved to Ola's little bedroom. Id forgotten it all. But just for a moment.
3rd. When I got back to Dekalb we went to different agencies asking for help, and I was able to get $575 from Salvation Army. $250 from DeKalb Community center, and a possible 150 from a parish in DeKalb. Ola's dad is going to be giving me $575 also. So that means that I have $175 to come up with on my own. Not bad. And...they wont be re renting the apartment out because I have giving them notices that checks from these agencies are on their way. Im _(this) close to moving in.

But...for the mean time....we are staying at Ola's house until Friday. It is on Friday that I am taking my trip to Ohio to meet up with some of my mommy friends. I will be back on Monday, and then its back to Ola's. Probably until that Friday, when Im sure that I will have all the money that I need to move in. So about two more weeks.

When I said I was looking for a miracle, I was, so I put my head to the sky, and asked for that miracle. God sent me three agencies and a wonderful future father in law to be that miracle. Thank you lord. Things are really looking up.
