Encouragment

Today Ola and I had a meeting with this wonderful woman from my school. I was really worried about Ola and I, and our family situation so I asked her if she would be willing to speak with us, and maybe play mediator. She agreed. I told Ola that she wanted to speak to us, I left out that I set the whole thing up. She really gave Ola and I some encouragement. Sometimes you need someone else to facilitate a talk, and she was the facilitator. It was really nice to get some of our feelings about our life, family, and our relationship. It was also nice to get advise from someone who once was in our shoes. Sometimes we forget that the hard times won't last forever. And she reminded us of that. Sadly we have been having some very hard times, but as my grandmother use to say, "Trouble don't last always." So...thank you Ms. Yvette. We really, really needed that encouragement.
