Today is my lovely son's birthday. He has been on this earth for a full year now! Im amazed.
I know that it has been a while since I last posted, but Ive been so busy. I started school on Monday(and I see that my schedule is going to be really hard), and Ive been playing for Myles birthday party. I have the balloons as my background because of his birthday. I thought that because this blog is all about him and his father and everything else, that I should honor his birthday w/ balloons.
Planning for his party has been hard. But it is all coming together. I have a few ppl that have RSVP'd and that's all that matters. I think that as long as a few are there to help me celebrate his birthday then it will be fun. I really don't have too much actually planned for the birthday. Not really any structured games or anything like that. It was my plan to have a clown and a few structured games, but then money fell short and I wasn't able to do that.
For today though, Ola and I woke him up at 12:30 so that we could wish him happy birthday and play and then pray with him at 1:22AM which is when he was born. He was also allowed to open up gifts that were there for him, and enjoyed playing with us for a few hours. And today he is at daycare, and I made sure to buy some cupcakes for him to share with his classmates. Im amazed that my son is 1yrs old, that he can walk, and talk(say some words), and he can express himself really well. Im amazed that the toddler that he has become. And I am ready for the next year ahead, where he really begins talking, and potty training, and more teeth, and everything else that the next year has to offer. I can't begin to imagine and even say out loud, that by tomorrow, my son will be working on his 2nd year on this earth. I'd like to say thank you to GOD and to my son, Happy 1st birthday
